Finally, the Nursery!

Ok, this post is a long time coming, and it took a topic from MOMs to FINALLY get me to post it!  It's almost the last day for the link-up, so I had to get it done!  Enjoy!

We went with a mostly green (gucamole is the color name) room and added in the white "chair rail" to break it up.  We didn't want the room to be too girly, which is why we went with pink accents.

This is what you see when you enter their room.  My mother-in-law bought the girls' cribs.  They're convertible... so I really hope they last as long as they are supposed to!  The tree and owl design came from Etsy - it's a decal.  We hired someone to put it up because I was too nervous to do it myself!  I love it!

This is to your right as you enter.

The bird prints I ordered from, surprise surprise, Etsy!  They are perfect for our girls (my husband plays guitar for those that don't know)

The mugs are from flowers my parents gave me on the girls' birthday and the frame is a shower gift from a friend(the pictures inside are from their 1 month photo shoot!)

Milena's crib is closer to the door. I think I did this so the girls cribs would line up with their initials over the changing area... weird, I know.

Here is Luciana's crib on the other side of the room.  Our friend's mom made their leaf crib personalizations.  I LOVE them!

The far side of the nursery.  Still haven't put up a curtain or window valance... it's on the to-do list.

Our friend made these birth stat prints for our girls.  I wish I could have found a better place to put them... and yes, the football is random :)

Yep, of course there's a guitar hanging in their room!  It does switch out, pending on which one Bruno is using that night.  My friend's mom made the girls the quilt hanging on the wall - it was her first time quilting, can you believe it?!  She did make 2, but I could only hang one :)

Here's the changing area.  My parents bought the double dresser in lieu of a changing table.  This way the girls can use it for much longer.  And yes, that IS a monkey on the dresser.  He dances and sings "Dynomite."

Close-up of their initials and hospital pictures.

So there you go!  I honestly love our girls' nursery... I will REALLY miss it when we have to move :(
