Ok, I won't get into THOSE details... definitely TMI. But this pregnancy was planned - ok, maybe the twins part not so much, but definitely the baby. Singular. Bruno and I were very blessed to be successful so soon, and even though we were planning for it, it was still a shock.
When I first noticed I was late, I didn't want to get my hopes up. So I waited a whole 3 days before taking "the test." Haha. I have no willpower. I wake up Monday morning and take the test. Not actually expecting a positive result, I was floored when it showed positive. Not believing it, I immediately took another test. Again, still positive! Overwhelmed and in shock, I went to tell Bruno. It was about 6am, so he was still sleeping away. I tapped his shoulder a few times, whispering his name. When he finally partially opened his eyes, I whispered, "I took a pregnancy test and it was positive."
Well that got him up. He shot out of bed and said, "Are you serious?!?!" I shook my head and said yes. I still couldn't believe it. So all day, all through my head, I kept saying "I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant." My softball game that night, all I kept saying in my head was, "I'm pregnant, don't hit it to me."
I took another test the next morning, still needing to be convinced. And the following week. Haha. Needless to say, it pretty much took me until our first doctor's appointment for me to actually believe it was real...
I took a pregnancy test every other day for about three months after I found out. Cliff wishes he took out stock in First Response. :)
