I thought they’d be good, as they were moving around right before the appointment. But they must have had a sugar rush and died down because they were not moving during the sonogram. In fact, they were very camera shy, not wanting to face us at all. To be fair, we did get a few good pictures of Baby B (Baby A) in the beginning – she’s so cute! Baby A (Baby B) turned just enough for us to see her a little bit, but that was about it. I had even mentioned to the technician, “I even drank OJ to get them riled up!”
“Yeah, that doesn’t really work.”
I don’t know if I necessarily agree because all the times I’ve gone for my routine sonograms, they’ve given me a juice to drink before, so they move around. Oh well. The technician tried his best to get some good images – tapping on my stomach, moving me back and forth. Yes, it was a bit uncomfortable, but I trust this guy. He does this all the time, so he knows what he’s doing. Plus, this procedure isn’t all that cheap, so I want to suck it up and do what needs to be done to see my girls.
In the end, it was worth it. We got some great images of the girls. Although we can kinds see what they look like, it’s still hard to envision what they will really look like when they come out. Sure, when they do, we’ll compare the pictures and be like, “Yes, that is definitely how she looks.” But right now, it’s tough. They do have cute noses though!

Also, I was showing the pictures to my friends and one of them replies, “Cute, but I still think 3D images are kinda creepy.” Haha. I know exactly how she feels. I even feel that way… but when it’s your own kid, it’s different. So if you think the pictures are creepy, I won’t take offense!
